Well I like him.Lol. Me and Ma went Monday to meet Dr. Cook and we liked him. He is in maybe mid Rees. and he was surprised to see me walking and talking but I was not Japanese. Ma asked him how many surgeries he had done andhe said that he came from LA and he did the surgery 2 times a week. thenshe asked how many he had seen here. In response he smiled and said that in 5 yrs I make the 2nd case he has seen. He pulled up the Dr's stool and sat between me and ma and showed me my results of the arc 4 vessel ago plast ago gram. When I had the stroke in 06 it was on the left side which affected the right, then in 08 when I had the small TMI it was on the right which
affected the left.well the back side of my brain is blocked. but he has no
idea what percentage so I have to do another test just like before but
instead of one dye injected I will have 4 dyes to show the blood flow on
top,under neath, and through inner and outer cranial. but the right side is reconstructing its self. but the left is not it has had 3 years to do that. what this test will show him is how fast the blood flow is and how much. the ct scan showed that the right side is trying to help feed the left and he said we do not want that. its causing straining of those vessels and that's why I am having head aches. and when I sleep I can't tilt my head all the way back cause that stops the flow of blood to the brain and causes head aches. Its a lot I know but then I asked him if I could pass this disease on to my children if I ever have them and he said honestly he could not tell me. So I asked him if I could ever be cured of this disease and he said no. Ma looked at him and asked him her final question and it was how long had I had this disease? He looked at me and looked at her and said she has had it her whole life, and he said that before we left that he was glad I was in his hands. So now we are waiting for the test and it will be at mercy hospital they
only have two in Oklahoma that can do this test, and it will most likely be done next week. Ma did ask him on a scale of 1 to 10 how important my moyamoya was he said its a 10. because I could seriously have another stroke.
But I do want to thank everyone for all of your prayers. you all will never know how great full I am. because of you all and your prayers my brain is re-healing its self. keep them coming:)
